Gingerbread Northern Ireland
Gingerbread is the lead agency working with and for one-parent families in Northern Ireland. Gingerbread provides practical and emotional support and services to help lone parents and confront poverty and isolation. It also provides training opportunities, crèche services and local support groups.

The helpline service offers free support and guidance for any family member with a behavioural, emotional or relationship difficulty.

Care for the Family
Care for the Family provides support to parents and the bereaved and helps when families break down.  It runs a number of networks and initiatives to support family life.

Homestart
Through a network of more than 12,000 trained parent volunteers we support thousands of parents who are struggling to cope.  Our families need support for many reasons including post-natal illness, disability, bereavement, the illness of a parent or child, or social isolation.
