Purpose

The purpose of this discussion paper is to review the suitability of the current Sunday trading laws.  It outlines existing laws in Northern Ireland and sets out a number of potential alternatives to the current permitted hours for Sunday opening.  It invites views from all interested parties on these alternatives and also on a number of related issues.
