How we can help you
The Information & Support Service can:
- Talk you through the options for putting in place a child maintenance arrangement, if you don’t already have one.
- Help you have a look at your existing child maintenance arrangement, so you can check if it’s the right one for you and your child.
- Offer practical information in areas linked to child maintenance, such as housing, employment and money. Although we are not experts in these areas, we can put you in touch with specialist organisations that can help.
You can contact our free phone* information line on 0800 028 7439 and speak to someone. We are open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Our helpline staff are specially trained to provide impartial information and support on child maintenance. Our service is available to anyone in Northern Ireland.
If you are a guardian, relative or friend, of if you have a professional interest in finding out more about child maintenance, we may also be able to help you.
