A. Over the 12 months we collected  over £18m.
 
Q. How much child maintenance does the NICSA collect each month including payments made direct to parents with care?
A. £1.55m per month across both Child support schemes.
 
Q. How many applications did the NICSA receive last year?
A. 8,874 applications.
 
Q. Do parents have to go through the NICSA?
A. No. If parents can come to an agreement, and they are not getting Income Support or Income-Based Jobseeker's Allowance, they can pay child maintenance without involving us.
