Services for people with special needs
If you have any special needs then we will do what we can to help you. If we cannot deal with your enquiry by letter or phone we may be able to visit you at home. We can also help you if you have any difficulty in completing our forms.
We can arrange to have some of our leaflets made available in Braille, large print or audiotape form. If English is not your first language our leaflets are also available in a range of other languages. If you require our leaflets in any of these formats please contact us on 0845 608 0022 and we will arrange to issue them for you.

- staff specialise in certain areas of the SMS business and may need to seek assistance in order to ensure you receive the best advice.

If you feel that we have not resolved a complaint satisfactorily. there are several ways to complain:

- Your Member of Parliament (MP) or NI Assembly Member (MLA) may contact us on your behalf, usually by writing to the Chief Executive or the Centre Manager. If your MP/MLA considers that your case has been maladministered it may be referred to the Northern Ireland Ombudsman.
