Payments

This section is mainly for non-resident parents and explains what you need to know about paying money to the Child Maintenance and Enforcement Division.

You may want to start paying as soon as possible to support the children and making voluntary payments can aviod arrears of child maintenance building up.  The page on voluntary payments explains more about this.

If you are paying the money to us, we will send you a payment schedule telling you how much you need to pay and when. The page on payment schedules explains more about this.

If you are having payment problems you will find information here on what to do.

The section on enforcement ’tells you what we will do if you fail to pay the right amount on time. There is also information on enforcement abroad.
