Affordability Review seminars

The Affordability Review will require extensive and intensive consultation with key stakeholders and the public.
Sir John met with a wide range of stakeholders such as:
  • Politicians,
  • Lenders,
  • Developers,
  • Planners,
  • Academics and voluntary and community organisations.  
He also met with representatives from other parts of the UK and ROI to learn from their experiences.
In addition, eight seminars were held across Northern Ireland over the last three months with key individuals involved or interested in the delivery of housing and related services. This provided an opportunity to meet with and hear first hand some of the issues that interact to affect the supply of social and affordable housing.
Sir John Semple has held seminars with planning professionals, Housing Associations, District Council Chief Executives, developers, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Planning Appeals Commission, Lenders, Non Governmental Organisations and Academics .
