Notice of Application for Entertainment Licence

Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) (NI) Order 1985 Article 3 Schedule 1: Licensing of Places of Entertainment
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provision of paragraph 5 (3) of the above schedule that an application for the Renewal of an Entertainment Licence for:

Chapel Lane,
Belfast
was lodged with Belfast City Council on 9th December 2008.
The nature of the entertainment in respect of which the application was lodged covers:
  • A theatrical performance
  • Dancing, singing or music or any entertainment of a like kind

Belfast City Centre West Side Regeneration District Draft Regeneration Framework

In accordance with Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998, the Department for Social Development (DSD) is seeking comments on its proposals for the future regeneration of the Castle Street/Fountain Street area in Belfast City Centre, specifically with regard to the potential impact on each of the Section 75 groups. The West Side Regeneration District Draft Regeneration Plan was published for public consultation on 26th June 2008 and DSD would now welcome the views of all those who represent Section 75 groups and other stakeholders’ views on equality issues raised by this document.
The consultation responses already received on the Draft Plan together with responses to the EQIA consultation document will be considered by DSD in finalising the masterplan as adopted Departmental policy.

Notice Of Making An Order Extinguishing Public Rights Of Way

The Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1991
Notice is hereby given that the Department for Social Development on the 19th November 2008 made an Order under Article 102 of the Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1991 the effect of which is to extinguish certain Public Rights-of-Way at Glenwood Green, Glenwood Close and Glenwood View, Poleglass.
The Order which is entitled the Planning (Extinguishment of Public Rights of Way), Glenwood Green, Glenwood Close and Glenwood View, Poleglass. Extinguishment Order (Northern Ireland) 2008 and associated map may be inspected free of charge by any person at all reasonable hours at the Department’s Belfast Regeneration Office, James House, 2-4 Cromac Avenue, Gasworks Business Park, Ormeau Road, Belfast, BT7 2JA.
