Regional Infrastructure Support Programme

The Department for Social Development in partnership with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is seeking to appoint a single strategic partner or consortium to deliver its new generic Regional Infrastructure Support Programme (RISP). Expressions of interest are now invited from Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations. Funding for the new programme over the period 1st October 2012 to 31st March 2015 is estimated to be in the region of £2.4m and is subject to final confirmation.
The vision for the programme is that VCS organisations across Northern Ireland (urban and rural) are provided with the key infrastructure support which allows them to function effectively to deliver government objectives and maximise the impact of the work they do.
Where a number of organisations come together to work and provide services as part of a consortium, the Department will only accept a single expression of interest on behalf of the consortium.
Interested voluntary and community organisations can obtain full details to include a copy of the RISP Policy Statement and an Expression of Interest Form by emailing:vcu@dsdni.gov.uk
