Existing holders of licences for the retail sale of intoxicating liquor should note that some licences may have to be renewed during the month of September. The statutory renewal date for such licences is 1 September 2009 and applications for renewal must be submitted to the Clerk of Petty Sessions for the petty sessions district in which the licensed premises are situated not later than 11 August 2009.

Late application or failure to make an application will mean that the licence may not be renewed at the licensing renewal sessions in September.
