Donegall Place / Castle Place Area

The design of the new streetscape respected the historic fabric of these streets and new paving, new lighting and feature masts.

This area centred the core retail area of the city centre and involved:  

Following the completion of the construction works Donegall Place has wider pavements and partial pedestrianisation with buses running only in one direction.
