Work to revitalise these streets commenced in this area in May 2009 and will involve new paving, new lighting and feature masts. The design of the new streetscape will respect the historic fabric of these streets.
When the first stage of the work is completed in Donegall Place there will be wider pavements and partial pedestrianisation with buses running only in one direction.
