Best Practise : Creating Common Ground Consortium (Word 28.5KB) The Creating Common Ground Consortium is a strategic partnership of 9 different Northern Ireland (NI) statutory and voluntary agencies. The overall aim of the Consortium is to “develop innovative responses to multiple deprivation in areas of urban and rural disadvantage throughout Northern Ireland”. The 40 Most Disadvantaged Communities Programme was designed by the Consortium to address a range of issues at community level. The most important of these was environmental regeneration. However, other aspects such as community safety, community relations, neighbourhood renewal and building community capacity were also considered.
