The Project Team

A project team has been set up in the North Belfast Community Action Unit. It is responsible for getting things done at the site such as:

• structural survey
• holding repairs and
• asbestos surveys.

The gaol is a listed building. This means it is protected by law. All changes to the building must be done according to the law. This year we are repairing and restoring the main buildings. This includes improvements to the front of the gaol which will make the area look much better.

Reports have been prepared to help us to make decisions on the future development plans for the gaol. These include

• Planning Review
• Technical Study
• Conservation Management Plan
• Gaol Times
